1 - 4 May 2008: Patchworktage at Einbeck - Loens Realschule hosted "Verblueffend! Textile Experimente / How Amazing! Textile Experiments" - so many visitors and interesting contacts and a lot of conversation - a great deal of congratulations for the participating artists which I would like to pass on to all of you - thank you very much!

Take a look at an article about the "Patchworktage at Einbeck" publicised in the magazine "Les Nouvelles" by the Association France Patchwork, N° 98, September 2008. "How Amazing! Textile Experiments" is mentioned as well as the image of the art work "Lebensfreude", entered by Marlis Bruppacher (CH), was chosen for an example.

From January 31 to March 15, 2009 the Textil- und Rennsport Museum, Antonstraße 6, D-09337 Hohenstein-Ernstthal, hosted How Amazing! Textile Experiments

 

Here are some impressions of the vernissage on Friday, January 30, 2009:

 

                                               

 

 

About 60 visitors as well as representatives of both of the local newspapers and TV attended the vernissage to take a look at the 115 exhibits. The museum showed the art works gallerylike in two large extra rooms.

 

On the occasion of the exhibition the museum offered two workshops on the opening weekend. Teacher was Gudrun Heinz.

Stadtmuseum Hornmoldhaus, Hauptstraße 57, D-74321 Bietigheim-Bissingen, hosted How Amazing! Textile Experiments from March 29 to April 13, 2009.

Some workshops, sponsored by the Stadtmuseum, were offered in order to enable some interested visitors to be creative as well as to discover new activities. From 26 April to 25 May 2009 Inge van Kann, a so called trash-art-artist who participates in "How Amazing! Textile Experiments" by herself, presented the Exhibition in her Kunstpraxis in Mechernich (Germany):
